Hello everyone! I hope you're all staying safe during this pandemic. I know this is a tough time for everyone but it will get better and when this tide finally washes away, it will take many of our woes with it. Stay strong! I wanted to take time to put out there what I am currently up to and what audiobooks you should be expecting in the coming months. Let's chat about it!
What's coming...
So the next audiobook in the Catnip Assassins series has finished being recorded and is now being edited as I write this blog-post. It is an awesome continuation of Meow and I really can't wait to share Kat's further development.
My favorite part about narrating this series is the character herself. She isn't perfect but she's still confident. She's strong and lethal, but there is a soft side to her too. Narrating as her is a really cool experience because she is so complex. I mean, who wouldn't want to narrate as a tough, sarcastic assassin? Anyways, keep an eye out for this book
The next audiobook that is hopefully on it's way to retail soon is a Sleepy Beauty retelling that tells the tale of Briar Rose's (Sleeping Beauty) daughter, Azia.
I am extremely excited for this book to come out and even more excited to continue. It's set in a fantasy world, it has dragons, it's going to have so much more! I love narrating as strong young women who are still trying to figure things out for themselves, but they still hold a certain confidence about who they are and what they want. Azia is a tough cookie and there is a lot of mystery surrounding her and I can't wait for you to join me in learning more about her and what she will become.
Keep an eye out for this one!
What's being worked on next...
I am extremely excited to dive in deeper with narration in this particular book. A Question of Faith is a powerful tale about a character who is part of something occult which goes against her religion, forcing her to be conflicted with who she is and what she believes in. I love this because I'm very much into witchcraft and believe one can be into witchcraft and psychic-related beliefs while also following a faith that may or may not be against it. It's an amazing thing to think about and look, your girl loves anything and everything magic! Make sure you click the image to get an idea of the book, you won't regret it.

This book has a special place in my heart and I really must finish it, despite how challenging it is to get through. Let me elaborate... This book is an absolute masterpiece in my opinion but it's also very hard to get through due to how much I can relate to it. Sara is going through an extraordinarily rough time in her life and is fighting a dark, deep depression. She's also a teen. Reading this really hit me in the feels because I was once in her situation. Not exactly the same, but I know how poisonous and destructive the depression she fights in this book can be.
As you all know, if you're familiar with my work, I am a voice-actor and a very immersive/engaging narrator who has no problem showing the emotions the characters feel in their situations. Sara's has been quite a battle narrating because admittedly, I've found myself crying for her and my past self quite a lot. Even crying at the idea of all the teenagers and younger who are fighting this now, by themselves, and alone. I imagine it is especially bad because of the pandemic. However, this book is not entirely depressing, and I think everyone will come out of reading it/listening to it with hope.
I think this might be one of my strongest narrations yet because of how emotional this is and how I wanted to make it very clear, that Sara is not okay, that this isn't something she can just get over. That anyone who suffers like she does, shouldn't be ignored. Mental Health needs to be taken much more seriously and I want to make sure I do my small part to make that statement as a performer.
That's it for now everyone! Please keep an eye out for all of these books and back to work I go. Stay magical and blessed be.
